Updated Bristol Water Cover Letter

Here is the updated cover letter asking for a placement at Bristol Water.

Some of the body of the text was moved around and rephrased.

I have the email address to send it to Mr Kelson (who works in PR at Bristol Water), and will send it using my UWE email address (to stop it from going to spam folders) as soon as possible. I also need to add in my contact information before sending.

Here is my cover letter asking for a placement at Bristol Water. I know that the company needs new images of its sites (such as treatment works and reservoirs) and I have worked for them before covering their annual dinner dance, so I believe I may have a strong chance of getting a placement there.

I need to make a few adjustments to the cover letter before I email it off.

Updated Ashton Park Cover Letter

I have updated my cover letter asking for a placement at Ashton Park Sixth Form.

There were only a few tiny adjustments to be made with phrasing and different synonyms.

I will find the appropriate email address to send it to, add my contact information, and use my UWE email address to stop it from going into spam folders.

Cover Letter - Ashton Park Sixth Form

Here is a copy of a draft cover letter asking for a placement at Ashton Park Sixth Form in the Photography department. I have some amendments to make to it before I send it off.

Placement Ideas

I have been thinking about my ideas for placements for a while. I would like to try working with students from secondary schools or sixth forms who have an interest for photography, as this is something that I have not done before and have an interest in as a possible career after I finish my degree. I would also like to perhaps gain a placement in the BBC or ITV West, as I am interested in a career in filmmaking and believe this experience could be beneficial to gaining jobs in that career path later on.

I already have one work placement lined up for the 27th April - I am photographing the Bristol Water Annual Dinner Dance with another photographer. I did this last year and my clients were so pleased with the results that I have been asked to do it every year. The preparation, event, and post-production will take a while, which will contribute towards my 120 hours.

I will amend my CV and begin to write cover letters to email to the placements.
